His unique style and uncanny lyrics

King is a Kentucky born, California raised, multi-talented artist with a background in acting and spoken word poetry. He began his acting journey shortly after high school starring in various short films, which landed him in the I.M.T.A competition in New York. Although experiencing some success, songwriting has always been his go to. He began a serious pursuit as an independent artist in 2017. He bases his music off of real-life journeys from moving out on his own, to getting married and having children, and every day life struggles. The blend of smooth samples and direct lyricisms pierce the ears of the listeners, welcoming them into his world. He released his first single “Just Like You”, featuring his younger brother Lifah in February of 2020. In this single, King and Lifah share their perspectives of the road to unity and peace within the black and brown communities. His main focus is to “plant seeds in the minds and elevate the level of consciousness of his audience.
